A Return to Work Plan includes:
- Assessment of the impact that the injury has on the employee’s ability to undertake normal duties
- Analysis of work tasks
- Assessment of task or workplace modifications required to facilitate a timely return to work, including allocation of alternative duties and/or a graded return to pre-injury work hours
- Consultation and liaison with workers, employers, insurers, doctors and other treatment providers
- Regular reviews to update and/or modify the Return to Work Plan.
